Dragonsworn Roleplaying
Since the only criteria for being a DragonSworn is belief in the Dragon's Rebirth and the Prophet Masema as the only true prophet, DragonSworn come in all shapes and sizes. While most are men, as seems common among a fighting force, there are women among the Sworn and they are from all places and paths of life. Because there is no set background for a DragonSworn each will have his own unique personality however certain characteristics will apply to all DragonSworn. First and foremost the DragonSworn are marked by their devout following of the Lord Dragon, which reaches fanatical levels at times and for some, goes even beyond that. They believe that he is the source of all Light, and as such is their only hope for Salvation from the Shadow. They will often preach to those not among the faithful to spread the word of his rebirth and and have been known to be forceful in their attempts to convert.
RP with other guilds:
WhiteCloaks: (enemy) While DragonSworn do not kill whitecloaks on sight there is no love lost between them. The Whitecloaks accost what DragonSworn they find and the opposite is true as well. You should always be on alert when you see Whitecloaks around, as more than likely they will attempt Sung'Hui beams a smile at Mares. to cause trouble one way or another.
Seanchan: (enemy/unknown) For the most part the seanchan are a relatively unknown force. If you were near Falme at the time of their attack or have heard about what occured there than you are aware of how dangerous they are and would treat them accordingly.
Aes Sedai: (VERY wary) As with most people in the world Aes Sedai are women to be feared or at the very least distrusted. It is believed by Masema that the White Tower will attempt to either use or destroy the Lord Dragon and for this reason all DragonSworn should be cautious around them. You are not to offer violence to them without just cause, and the cause would have to be very extreme to bring war with the White Tower.
Warders: (wary) They are known to be the protectors of the Aes Sedai and there are many compitent blademasters among them. You would not invite a confrontation with a Warder any more than you would invite one from a Sedai since one will surely bring the other.
Gleeman: (neutral) Like most people the DragonSworn should enjoy the company of a Gleeman, whether it's for music or stories about times long past. There should be no real reason for a DragonSworn to harm a gleeman unless he was found to be a darkfriend or any other such extreme case.
Tinker: (neutral) The followers of the Way of the Leaf are of no interest to the DragonSworn. They can cause you no problems, as it is quite impossible for them to use violence of any sort, and regardless of your personal feelings toward them you should never harm a tinker. Any violent acts against tinkers will be dealt with harshly.
Asha'man: (friendly) As male channelers that follow the Lord Dragon the asha'men are held in very high esteem by the members of the DragonSworn. They are our brothers in arms and should always be treated with respect. It is the greatest honor for a DragonSworn to aid an asha'man and you should always respond if one of them is in need.
Band of the Red Hand: (friendly) Led by the General Lord Mattrim the band are also allies of the DragonSworn. They have sworn to follow the Lord Dragon and should be treated as brothers in arms. There is a rough competative nature between the two guilds but at no time should you harm a member of the Band unless there is extreme justification.
SeaFolk: (neutral) Most DragonSworn will have most likely never even set eyes on the seafolk before and for this reason there is no real relationship between our two guilds. There is not much oppertunity for contact and what little you know of them is most likely untrue anyway.
Wolfkin: (unknown/neutral) Since there are only a few men or women with the unique ability to speak with wolves they are relatively unknown. Add to that their solitary nature and it is understandable why there is no set relation between the guilds. Any opinions and roleplay will have to be determined individually.
Hunters: (neutral) Hunters like DragonSworn come in all shapes and sizes. All are men and women who seek the Horn of Valare and most are nobles of various houses throughout the land. Since the majority of DragonSworn are not nobility any confrontations with Hunters will most likely consist of arrogance on their part. Any roleplay or personal opinions here will also have to be determined individually.
Ogier: (neutral) There should be no reason for any DragonSworn to be antagonistic or hostile toward an Ogier. They are friendly and seldom wander far from their steddings for the most part and your chances of seeing one are small. Called treebrother and the builders they have an affinity for the land and contain a lot of knowledge lost to the rest of the world.
Aiel: (neutral/friendly/wary) Warriors from the Aiel Waste they crossed the Dragonwall searching for a chief of clan chiefs, the car'a'carn. While most have probaly heard stories of black veiled aiels and had their mothers tell them be good or the aiel will get you, they are an honorable people for the most part. On the orders of the Lord Dragon no DragonSworn is to harm or hinder an Aiel in any way, shape or form.
Forsaken/Darkfriends: (enemies) Darkfriends should they be found are to be taken and questioned, and if necessary killed. They are a threat to the Lord Dragon and must be exterminated where they are found. As for the forsaken, they are most likely beyond the average DragonSworn to handle. At this point you should inform the Asha'man of your suspicions and coordinate your efforts with them.
